Named President I' '7 A By, for and about WOMEN Miss Priest Plans Sept. 15 Wedding By Karin Hayuard MISS SARAH LLOYD PRIEST and George Lyon Fonyo will be married at 4:30 o'clock the afternoon of Sept. 15 at the Church of St. Michael and St. George.

The Rev. Dr. J. Francis Sant will officiate. The small reception will take 11 i ts Vv New Season Of Theater for Children to Open By Virginia Bettt White THE THIRD SEASON tit the Trouplng Theater, one of the volunteer actlvlLiea of the St.

Louis section, National Council of Jewish Women, will open Sept. 14. Forty women who are members of the theater troupe, which performs only for children, will take part as performers and backstage workers in the productions. Shows are given twice weekly during the year at hospitals in this area. The season's first performance will be given at Cardinal Glen-non Hospital for Children.

Since its inception in 1960 under the direction of Mrs. Walter Berkman, the women have given almost 200 performances of shows which are written, produced and staged by volunteers in the council. Repertoire of the group includes live original shows, "Mother Goose's Birthday Party," "If I owned a Circus," "A Trip to Toyland," "Children's Holidays," and "Tom Sawyer's Ballet." In the course of the year children at each hospital will get to see all five- shows. In charge of production for the theater are Mrs. Milford Rout-man and Mrs.

Martin Pultman. Mrs. Alfred Tetchaft handles publicity for the theater. The informal, intimate shows have been carefully prepared in consultation with hospital administrators. The two-hour productions have been planned for performance in a ward so that settings, equipment and other props are necessarily kept to a minimum.

Music for performances is by either records or piano, if one is available, and frequently songs by the volunteers are part of a show. The circuit will Include for the first time this year performance at Belief ontaine Farms. Of Auxiliary MRS. HAROLD J. FREIHEIT, new president of the Medical Staff Auxiliary of Lutheran Hospital, will be hostess at a luncheon Friday at 12:30 o'clock at the Missouri Athletic dub for officers and special committee chairmen of the organization.

Plana for the coming year will be made at the luncheon. Women who will assist Mrs. Freiheit are: Mrs. Herluf G. Lund, vice president; Mrs.

A. James Meagher, treasurer; Mrs. Lewis T. Litzow, recording secretary; Mrs. Karl Balaza, corresponding secretary, and Mrs.

George Siemers, ex-officio member of the board. Chairman of committees are Mrs. John Schiestl, program; Mrs. William J. Cannon, dinner dance; Mrs.

Roy Schmiemeier, special activities; Mrs. William Farley, membership; Mrs. George Daman, historian; Mrs. Morris Herman, yearbook, and Mrs. Vernon Michael, publicity.

Garden Group Plans Luncheon Meeting MRS. LOUIS PUGLIESE, a member of the Garden Appreciation Club of Greater St. Louis, will be hostess to the group at a patio party Sept. 6 at her home, 8133 Roxburgh drive, Clayton. After a business meeting starting at 11:30 o'clock, there will be a luncheon.

Mrs. Fred Weishaar, a member, will speak in the afternoon on the general topic of horticulture. Mrs. W. Herbert Demaree is president of the group.
