While a victory Is hoped for, the boys know that they will have their hands full and are preparing to stubbornlv resist the onslaughts of C. li. C. athletes. The teams will about balance In weight and team work will have to win the game.

Capt. Harmon says he Is more than anxious to take his team to St. Louis for the reason that so much has been said in the daily papers about his team being composed of railroad section hands, blacksmiths and bakers, and he wishes to give the citizens of St. Louis the opportunity to see that all such statements are false and that every man on the team is a college man and plays the game as onlv gentlemen can play it. Whoever is victorious the score will not be large and McKendree will demonstrate that the article of football that It puts forth Is of the first-class, even though It loses.

It is hoped that matters can be so adjusted that McKendree and Marion-Sims may yet meet before this season closes.
