BY CALVIN WILSON THURSDAY ‘GREASE’ WHEN 8:15 p.m. Thursday through Aug. 8 • WHERE The Muny in Forest Park • HOW MUCH $14-$85, plus the free seats • MORE INFO 314-361-1900; muny.org A young actress from Bourbon, Mo., Taylor Louderman was playing a sorority sister in the Muny’s 2011 production of “Legally Blonde” when she learned that she’d been chosen to star in a new musical show, “Bring It On: The Musical.” After playing the spirited cheerleader on Broadway and on tour, she’s back at the Muny to star as “good girl” Sandy Dumbrowski in “Grease.” Another actress with local roots, Phyllis Smith of “The O ce,” made her Muny debut just last year as Sister Julia in “Nunsense Muny Style.” She’s back to play English teacher Miss Lynch, one of the adults who is supposedly in charge at Rydell High School. The Pink Ladies might tell you another story.
